23rd International Children and Young Adults Theater Festival
A Tribute to Reza Fayyazi

The policy-making council of 23rd International Children and Young Adults Theater Festival has decided to pay tribute to Reza Fayyazi, the veteran theater artist of children and young adults for his lifetime achievement.
Born in 1943, Reza Fayyazi, director, author and actor, has a prolific career in cinema, theater and television. He starred in over 70 TV, cinema and theater shows, irantheater.ir reported.
“Charikeh Tar”, “Kimia”, “Strange Era”, “Under the Sky of the City”, “Ziba Barberry”, “Zi Zi Gooloo” are among his most important works as actor.
Reza Fayyazi starred in or directed theater shows like “T as Theater”, “Inspector”, “Shrewd Man, Naughty Monster”, “Antigone” and “Bald Singer”.
The latest work by the veteran artist was “One-Minute Dad”, which was performed in Honar Theater and was welcomed by the children and young adults. He has so written six books including play, poetry and fiction like “T as Theater”, “Lotus Lady”, “Stories of Asiyeh Abad” and “Actor”.
The 23rd International Children and Young Adults Theater Festival will take place in Hamedan on December 12-17. Shahram Karami is the secretary of the event.
