Deputy Hamedan Governor General:
Hamedan to Host International Children & Young Adults Theater Festival for Another Five Years
Deputy Hamedan governor general for political and security said that Hamedan would host International Children and Young Adults Theater Festival for the next five years.
Mohammad-Ebrahim Elahitabar urged the festival would introduce Hamedan as an ancient capital of Iran and take the participants to tourism attractions of the city.
The official said that non-governmental organizations, municipalities and private sector could organize festivals in other countries and some provinces of the country but Hamedan was unable to do so due to certain problems.
Therefore, he said, the governor general department would help Hamedan cultural officials to organize this festival.
Stressing that the festival could help enrich the leisure time of the provincial residents, Elahitabar asked the municipality of Hamedan to facilitate their transport during the festival.
The 23rd Hamedan International Children & Young Adults Theater Festival will take place on December 12-18. Shahram Karami is the secretary of the festival.
