“You Denied Yourself to Me”, a Different Story of an Author

“You Denied Yourself to Me” is a post-modern show about confusion of modern human.
Akbar Sadeghi, author and director of “You Denied Yourself to Me”, said his show was his life story and its main theme was about the confusion of modern human as a dilemma of the man today, irantheater.ir reported.
Mr Sadeghi, who comes from Bileh Savar, explained that “You Denied Yourself to Me” is the story of an author who is writing his book as the audience sees how he is writing and how his life events develop.
The author has created three characters of Alireza, Mehran and Minou, he said, adding that Alireza and Mehran are home mate until Mehran decides to marry Minou. The new event leads to confusion of the author, making him to change his story three times.
Mr Sadeghi explained that his play was post-modern and has changed the structures of a classic theater either in writing or in direction and acting while he used cinema elements in his show.
“You Denied Yourself to Me” continues with confusion, which is a dilemma for today’s human, especially those in his age, he said. “I raised the issue but finding the root causes will fall on the audience.”
