10 Top Pieces of New Generation Named

Eight out of 104 works submitted to the secretariat of the festival are introduced to new generation section. Admission of one of them is conditioned, irantheater.ir reported.

Also, two plays “Formalities”, which is written by Ehsan Ghafouri and directed by Ramin Akbari from Tehran, and “Da”, which is co-written by Fatemeh Rezaei and Mohammad-Reza Taheri and directed by Zahra Tanouri from Fasa, are admitted in the festival from the University Theater Festival. 

The participating theater troupes of the new generation section of the festival include;

“Midsummer Night’s Nightmare”, written by Mahdi Asadzadeh and directed by Shokoufeh Taheri from Tehran

“Irascible Circle”, written and directed by Mohammad-Javad Marami from Isfahan

“My Inside Yerma”, written and directed by Setareh Tabrizzadeh from Isfahan (conditioned)

“Lucia”, written and directed by Shahab Mehrabanpour from Tehran

“Kitchen”, written and directed by Mohammad-Reza Radmand from Tehran

“Memoirs of the Actor in a Supporting Role”, written by Bahram Beyzai and directed by Afshin Zamani from Tehran

“Oxygen”, co-written by Mahsa Ghafourian and Mehdi Zia-Chamani and directed by Mehdi Zia-Chamani from Mashhad

“Emergency Exit”, co-written by Sanaz Asadi & Rafeh Rostami and directed by Mehrdad Mostafavi from Tehran

The festival will host 10 pieces in its new generation section.
