The land of theater has lost its Vali. Master Jafar Vali was from a generation of theater community who selflessly sow the seeds of creativity and illumination in the noble land of Iran. The sadness over his demise when we are still sad about the death of our other veteran theater figures is bitter and poignant. I express my pain and regret over this death and wish patience of the family of the late master and express condolences to the art community. Long live his memory.
Jafar Vali, director, actor and script writer, passed away yesterday at the age of 83, suffering from lung disease for a long time.
