Polish Festival Awaits Iranian Students
Theater troupes can submit requests to take part in ITSeLF Festival, which will be held in summer, by February.
The 9th International Theatre Schools Festival, known as ITSeLF, will take place in Warsaw Poland from June 30th till July 6th. The festival is organized by Aleksander Zelwerowicz Performing Arts National Academy with the cooperation of Aleksander Zelwerowicz foundation.
Iranian student troupes can submit applications to take part in the biennial festival by January 31. The application form can be emailed at festival@at.edu.pl.
ITSeLF will admit pieces, which had their first performance after September 2015. The festival is exclusively for university students and admitted works will be announced by March 9 on the site.
The applicants have to email a mp4 video of their performance plus a word file describing the performance and required points to the festival. The file must be written in English in a way to be used in brochures and bulletins of the festival. Five still images of set design must be email too.
The festival will bear admittance costs maximum 10 members of each group.
Transportation of troupe members and decoration of the fest must be paid by the group.
The festival will award the winners in five categories such as the top winner, special prize, lead and supporting actors as well as public prize. No further details about the awards are available.
In addition to competitions, educational workshops and speeches will be held.
