Visual Identity in Advertisements to Be Judged

Given the growing number of performances and theater venues across the country, effective advertisement is seen as an undeniable part of the theater production. The theater troupes need to pay due attention to capacities, potentials and charachteristics of advertisement. Theater troupes must show their potentials in a unified visual identity. Such essential need is within the realm of a graphic designer, irantheater.ir reported.  

The field, if institutionalized, would help improve economy of theater productions, creating chances for performing arts at the national and international levels.

In addition to poster competition, the Fadjr festival will hold a competition on designing visual identity of theater troupes to establish a connection between theater groups and graphic designers.

A group comprising of Ebrahim Haghighi, Amrollah Farhadi and Alireza Mostafazadeh Ebrahimi will be the jury member of the section.

Ebrahim Haghighi

Born in 1949 in Tehran

Master’s degree in architecture from Tehran University’s Fine Arts Faculty, taught in art faculties, a member of International Graphic Designers Society, a founding member of Iran Graphic Designers Society, a member of Iranian Illustrators of Children Book Society, a member of Iran Documentary Makers Society, he had designed hundreds of posters, emblem, trademark, books.

Amrollah Farhadi

Born in 1955 in Fars

Graphic designer, planner and designer of marketing and advertisement communications, worked black & white photography during his education, designer, planner, art creativity director, founder of Vijehpardazane Sabz Art and Cultural Institute, advisor to companies for marketing and art, taught in high schools and art faculties, took part in different conferences, has written several essays and participated in different art exhibitions.

Alireza Mostafazadeh Ebrahimi

Born in 1962 in Isfahan

Graphic Designer, Art and Creativity Director

Master’s Degree in illustration from Tehran University’s Fine Arts Faculty, taught in Fine Arts Faculty, Art and Architecture Faculty and Nabi Akram Faculty. A member of Iran Graphic Designers Guild Union, took part in several domestic and international exhibitions, received awards at home and abroad.

The 35^th Fadjr International Theater Festival will take place in Tehran from January 20 to Januart 31. Saeed Asadi is the secretary of the festival.
