Fadjr Int’l Theater Fest to Focus on High Humane Values
A Gathering of Society of People with Vision & Hearing Loss to Be Held
A gathering of people with vision and hearing loss will be organized during 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival, which will take place in Tehran from January 20 to January 31. The gathering will be attended by theater officials, artists and a group of individuals with vision and hearing impairments. The gathering will be performed by the people with vision and hearing loss in the lobby of the City Theater.
The themes of the festival included high and common global values of human, a close and prudent look into the society, social issues, civil ethics and social commitments in all fields of life and art. The gathering of the people with vision and hearing loss by the Society of People with Vision and Hearing Loss will be held in this line, irantheater.ir reported.
In a meeting attended by Saeed Asadi, secretary of Fadj festival, Milad Nikabadi and two representatives of the Society of People with Vision and Hearing Loss, Mr Asadi said that the festival would cooperate with persons with such disabilities to help put the spotlight on those active in performing arts.
“We do not see the people with vision and hearing loss as incapable and the Fadjr Theater Festival, which is being held annually, will exert efforts to help them reach their ideas and plans,” Mr Asaid said.
He promised that a gathering of persons with these disabilities would be held during the festival in the lobby of the City Theater where these artists could perform their art in the presence of theater officials, artists and their own community.
