Masoud Delkha, a Jury Member of 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival:
Correct Selection of Jury Members to Increase Quality of Festivals

Masoud Delkha, a jury member of the 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival, said that correct choice of jury members would help improve the perspective of the festivals and their quality.
Masoud Delkhah told Public Relations Office of the 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival that it was fine the pieces had been performed before the start of the festival, adding that he would see no problem in this because the shows left behind their trial and error during their performances, irantheater.ir reported.
The university professor said that secretary of each edition of the festival could have major influence on the event. “Lack of permanent secretary for the festival has disrupted clear path and perspective of the festival over the years and we have witnessed its negative consequences too.”
Director of “Stranger” said that selection of the jury members of the festival should have had a clear guideline. Sometimes good choice of jury members is made and sometimes it is quite contrary, he complained.
Also, he stressed that participants would add weight to the festival. If financial supports to the festival and theater groups are improved, number of its participants would increase too.
The 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival will take place in Tehran from January 20-31. Saeed Asadi is its secretary.
