Budgets & Supports Influence Fadjr Theater Festival
Veteran stage director Manijeh Mohamedi believes that shortage of budge in theater has [negatively] influenced Fadjr International Theater Festival.
Fadjr International Theater Festival was aimed at supporting artists and top works taking part in the event, she said, stressing that lack of such supports would definitely discourage artists, according to irantheater.ir.
Referring to participation of pieces, which have been staged throughout the year, in the festival, Ms Mohamedi said that the Fadjr Festival was no different from other leading festivals of the world in this regard.
Such procedure was more reasonable compared to production of pieces produced particularly for the festival in a short period of time, the renowned director stressed.
The 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival will take place in Tehran on Jan 20-31. Saeed Asadi is the secretary of the event.
