Mahdi Shafiee Expresses Condolences Death of Rokneddin Khosrawi
Mahdi Shafiee, director general of Dramatic Arts Center, extended his condolences to the family of Rokneddin Khosrawi, Iran’s veteran stage director and author, and members of the theater community.
Director general of Dramatic Arts Center described master Khosrawi as one of the pillars of Iran modern theater, irantheater.ir reported.
The message read;
We surely belong to Allah and to Him we shall return
He, as one of the main pillars of modern theater, not only influenced the academic theater generation but also the professional theater.
He left a legacy which can help preserve his name in the memories. I express condolences on the demise of this valuable artist. My heart goes out with his respected family and theater community.
Rokneddin Khosrawi died on Monday in London at the age of 87. His body will be buried in Iran.
