Theater Promotes Culture of Dialogue

Ali Moradkhani, deputy culture minister for artistic affairs, issued a message on the upcoming 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival.

The message of Ali Moradkhani, deputy culture minister for artistic affairs, read;

Theater promotes the culture of dialogue. Distressed natures and world can reach peace through dialogues, shaping a wise and cultured society. Telling the story of musts and must-nots of life and inviting people to the land of happiness and salvation is the art of theater. Theater sows the seeds of hope in the soul and spirit of human, teaches good style of living, connect to the people through simplicity and encouragement at a time of regret and destitution. It is a connection, which takes roots and brings fruits. Fadjr International Theater Festival is a tree that bears fruit each year concurrent with the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic revolution and invites people to watch pleasant scenes.

The record of Iran theater opens in Fadjr Theater Festival, displaying a scene of Iran Theater. Fortunately, the 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival will be held with more splendour and better presentation thanks to efficient planning of officials, efforts of artists, auspicious events such as the year to support theater, naming the national theater day in the official calendar, meeting of dramatic arts directors of the West Asian countries as well as various international events.

Given the potentials of provincial theater, seven Iranian provinces host pieces, workshops and specialized seminars, showing an improvement of Iran theater record. Also, active participation of theater groups in international section has prepared an opportunity for dialogue and exchange of views.

I hope theater lovers will use this great situation and academic and experimental chance of the festival to promote and develop theater in the country more ever than before.

I express gratitude to the organizers of the 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival, especially respected jury members and artists, who are taking part in the various sections of the festival and the esteemed secretary. I also extend my congratulations to final participants and wish the members of the theater community to serve Islamic Iran culture and art.
