Ancient Greek Instruments to Be Played

“The Journey of Odyssey” from Greece will be performed on Thursday in international section of the 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival, which will run until January 31. The piece will be start at noon until 8 pm, Thursday.
“The Journey of Odyssey” is a marathon reading of Homer’s epic “Odyssey” in which individuals of every class of the society will take part, irantheater.ir reported.
Music is played by local and international ensembles in parallel with the reading. Ancient Greek music instruments will also be played.
200 readers of different ages including sportspeople, politicians, reporters, university students, schoolchildren and children will read the epic in a multinational environment in different Iranian accents and languages.
Any individual who had earlier registered for marathon reading has given a part of the epic to rehearse.
The readers can perform their reading based on their creativity and taste.
The event is co-organized by Greek embassy in Tehran and Elliniko Theatro.
The 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival will run until January 31. Saeed Asadi is the secretary of the festival.
