Rokneddin Khosrawi to Be Buried on Friday

The body of the late author is back to his home country from London on Wednesday.

A group of artists were present on Tuesday at 11 pm in Vahdat Hall to go to airport and pay tribute to the body of Mr Khosrawi, irantheater.ir reported.

Asghar Hemmat, Iraj Rad, Atila Pesiani, Tajbakhsh Fanaeian, Dr Kupal, Elham Pavehnejad, Hormoz Sirati, Khosrow Ahmadi, Abbas Jahangirian, Kazem Balouchi, Shohrab Salimi, Hamid Mozafari, Zari Talebi, Mojtaba Yasini, Kayvan Nakhaei, Farzaneh Neshatkhah, Behrouz Baghaei, Azita Hajian, Roya Taymourian, Nader Borhani-Marand, Jamal Mirsadeghi, Dr Taherian, Mahdi Shafiee, Dr Masoud Delkhah, Jamshid Jahanzadeh, Maryam Kazemi and Maryam Rahimi were present.

The funeral of Mr Khosrawi, who died of old age in London, last week, will be held from Vahdat Hall in Tehran at 9 am, Friday upon a request by his wife. His funeral was earlier planned to be on Thursday. The body will be buried in Beheshte Zahra Cemetery.  

Elham Pavehnejad, Iraj Rad, Jamal Mirsadeghi and Akbar Zanjanpour will talk about the dead artist.
