New round of performance of “I…”, which is designed and directed by Farhad Tajvidi, has begun among rare enthusiasm of theater-lovers in Tehran’s Pardise Theater.
New round of performance of “I…” with 80 actors opened Tehran’s Pardise Theater in southeastern capital, irantheater.ir reported.
“I…”, which is cowritten by Farhad Tajvidi and Hamid Vard, tells the story of young people attending an acting class. They picture their ideas and concerns in the absence of their teacher while they are grappling with their self. This would lead to chaos and their “I” will be sacrificed to reach a common point.
“I…”, which is chosen the best piece of the 2nd City Theater Festival, showered with accolades by theater critics and university professors because it was picturing a different narration of the city dwellers, their social behaviors against each other and their conflicts of ideas and contradictions.
The acting method of “I…” is a combination of modern theater and group and physical movements to picture excitement in a proper humane condition.
The piece was staged in the international section of the 35th Fadjr International Theater Festival, which closed on January 31, in Mehrab Theater with 30 actors.
