Press Conference on Tuesday

The multinational Odin Teatret will be in Tehran this week to perform “The Tree” and give performing arts workshops. The press conference will be held at 10:30 in Mashahir Hall of the City Theater of the capital.

Mr Barba and Odin Teatret ensemble will present the most recent ensemble performance “The Tree”, two solo performances, give two Master Classes and two workshops during their weeklong stay in Tehran.

The schedule of the ensemble:

Master Class (I) with Eugenio Barba and Julia Varley, 9:00-11:00 am, Sunday February 5 at Main Auditorium of the City Theater

Master Class (II) with Roberta Carreri, 11:30-13, Sunday February 5

Workshop, dynamic and coordination, a workshop for young performers, led by Carolina Pizarro and Elena Floris, February 6-8, 9:00-13:00 

The workshop will focus on research and exploration of physical, vocal and musical materials with concrete strategies for the actor's dramaturgy.

Workshop, Sticks and Stones – a process in search of hidden meanings, led by Donald Kitt, February 6-9, 9:00-13:00

The workshop will focus on the performers physical training, the development of actions inspired by the use of an object and vocal exploration: the discovery of an individual rhythm, spacial awareness and dynamism.
