Theater Artists Welcome Eugenio Barba Master Class

The masterclass, which dealt with the different levels of organization in a theater performance and the elementary aspects of theater anthropology, was also attended by members of Odin Teatret. Mr Barba also talked about daily and extra daily techniques, movement/action, static/dynamic immobility, energy in space and energy in time, montage technique, dramaturgy of the director, dramaturgy of the actor and the director's perception and the spectator's perception in the masterclass.

The two-hour session was participated by Iranian theater academics and artists such as Dr Mohammad-Reza Khaki, Ali Asghar Dashti, Nasim Ahmadpour, Fares Baqeri, Afsaneh Zamani, Baran Kowsari, Mohammad Rezaeirad, Shahab Agahi, Mahdi Shafiee, Saeed Asadi, Payman Shariati, Mahin Madani, Poupak Azimpour, Ghazal Eskandarnejad, Javad Roshan, Hadi Kamalimoghaddam, Kambiz Asadi, Fahimeh Najmi, Ebrahim Poshte Kouhi, Behzad Seddighi.

Another masterclass with Roberta Carreri, workshops on dynamic and coordination, a workshop for young performers, led by Carolina Pizarro and Elena Floris and sticks and stones – a process in search of hidden meanings, led by Donald Kitt, are among programs of Mr Barba and the Odin Teatret in Tehran.
