Mohammad Charmshir & Asghar Dashti Talk about "Closed Circuit"
A Remarkable Play with Interesting Idea

"Closed Circuit", which is directed by Pegah Tabasinezhad, is being performed since Thursday in Tehran Independent Theater. The play is being praised by some noted theater figures.
Mohammad Charmshir said after watching "Closed Circuit" that he liked the play despite it did not have any super star or noted actors, irantheater.ir said, stressing that it was brilliant.
Mr Charmshir said that the rhythm of the play was good, showing that the director knew her job very well.
Ali Asghar Dashti said that the cast members of the piece were young, which was a choice by the director.
Mr Dashti said that the performance of the play was a remarkable and amazing idea, explaining that it was practically used technology and lighting.
Ms Tabasinezhad staged "Charisma" a decade ago in Iran, the Netherlands and Canada with a novel approach into the art. The director is performing "Closed Circuit" after 10 years of direction in Canada. The play deals with the identity of today's human in Iran society.
A group of young actors decide to record a closed-circuit video in a public place to try their acting. But the situation gets complicated.
Ali Tabrizi is an advisor to the director and lighting designer, Saba Alizadeh, sound designer and music, Farhad Fozouni graphic designer and Hassan Joudaki as production director.
"Closed Circuit" is being performed every night at 18:30. Masoud Jafari, Hadis Jamshidi, Milad Changi, Arman Hosseini, Bahareh Radmand, Baset Rezaei, Alireza Rasouli, Aida Roshdi and Ilnaz Shabani play in the piece.
