Pavenejad: I play the role of a woman whose husband locks her up every day at home.
Elham Pavenejad, noted cinema, television and theater actress, plays in “Orang Trilogy”, which is directed by Mohamad Hatami and co-written by Alireza Naderi, Mohammad Yarahmadi and Nima Naderi. The play is being performed in Koneshe Moaser Theater Complex.
Mr Pavenejad said that the piece was a reproduction and Maryam Saadat played the role in the previous performance but she could not join the cast because of her busy schedule, irantheater.ir reported.
When Alireza Naderi and Mohammad Yarahmadi were co-written a play that could show the piece would be great, Ms Pavenejad said.
On the difficulties of the character she was playing, Ms Pavenejad said that the character was suffering from schizophrenia and she had to consult with psychologists and physicians on the role, which was highlighted by Nima Naderi, the son of Alireza Naderi, thanks to his perfect choice of words.
She explained that the episode she was playing was titled “footstep” in which Ms Pavenejad would play the role of a nameless woman who was locked up by her husband every day and she had no companion except for home furniture and appliances.
She said that “Orang Trilogy” would have two shows every night in Paytakhat Auditorium and the early shows were warmly welcomed by the audience.
