Iranian Actors in Sweden

Two stand-up comedies, which will be played by Amir Karbalaeizadeh and directed by Kaveh Mahdavi, will be performed on Sunday, February 12 at 16:30 in Sweden, irantheater.ir reported.

“Peace” stand-up comedy and one comedy without dialogue, will be played in a hall, which will be attended by 85 percent non-Iranians.

“A Woman Alone”, which is written by Dario Fo, is a monologue by a woman character. It is played by Faramarz Qelichkhani and Masoumeh Sheikhzadeh, which plays the character of the woman.

Kaveh Mahdavi is dramaturge of the piece, which is translated by Manijeh Mohamedi. Members of Sweden theater association and Scandinavian countries will watch the play.

Kaveh Mahdavi said that he and his accompanying ensemble were hopeful to pave the ground for cultural relations between Iran and Sweden during their short stay there.
