Crimson Tulip Theater Festival closed in Andimeshk on Thursday, February 9.
The closing ceremony of 22nd Crimson Tulip Theater Festival was held in Andimeshk on Thursday, February 9 with the participation of Hasanvand, a lawmaker who represents the city in the parliament.
Mr Hasanvand said that theater would create identity and this festival would focus on the sublimation of art and artist. "We are trying to turn Andimeshk into a role model for introducing the eight-year sacred defense (Iran-Iraq war (1980-1988."
He said that the artists of the city would expect Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to register this event in the country's national theater calendar.
Mahdi Shafiee, director general of Dramatic Arts Center, said in a short speech that Andimeshk had the potentials to turn theater a school for sublimation of society and improving humane values.
He said that this opportunity should be cherished and the people should be encouraged to watch theater to promote effective awareness and culture.
Mr Shafiee, Armaghan Behdarvand, managing director of Dramatic Arts Association, Mohammad Jourmand, director general of Khuzestan Culture and Islamic Guidance Department, Khuzestan cultural officials praised the artists in the ceremony.
