7,000 Theater Artists
In New Year Calendar of Iran Theater
Names and brief information of more than 7,000 Iranian theater artists are published in a New Year Calendar as the country is going to celebrate New Year on March 21.
Iran Association of Performing Arts announced that 580 theater troupes and 4,000 members of these groups are introduced in the 4th New Year Calendar of Iran Theater, which is published annually, irantheater.ir reported.
The association listed the calendar as a reliable source, which present specialized and documented information about Iran Theater, respecting members of theater community and commemorating the important domestic and international performing arts event.
The calendar is collected under the supervision of Ali Akbar Abdolalizadeh and the Dramatic Arts Center.
It includes top photos of domestic and international performing arts event, brief history of the world theater, artists' birthdays or the death anniversaries, a list of private theater houses and state-run theater complexes and etc.
It is priced 200,000 rials.
