"Shelter", which is directed by Amin Miri, has its last performance on Friday in Qashqaei Hall of the City Theatre Complex as deputy president for women and family affairs watched the piece.
Shahindokht Molaverdi, deputy president for women and family affairs, watched last performance of "Shelter" in Qashqaei Hall on Friday, irantheater.ir reported.
Amin Miri said after the performance that he was pleased hosting Ms Molaverdi as audience, hoping that she would convey the concerns of piece's character "Mina" to President Hassan Rouhani.
"Fortunately Ms Molaverdi has taken steps to release women in prison for minor crimes to be released," he said, adding that he hoped that Mr Rouhani could help rehabilitate situation of the homeless as his administration did a great job and reached a nuclear deal with the world power.
Ms Molaverdi hold talks with Mahdi Shafiee, managing director of the Dramatic Arts Center in the office of the City Theatre Complex.
Ahmad Masjed Jamei, a member of the Tehran City Council, and artists such as Iraj Rad, Ehteram Boroumand, Majid Mozafari and Nazanin Shahamizadeh watched the piece as special guests.
"Shelter", which is written by Sanaza Bayan, is produced by Sajjad Afsharian. It was performed from February 13 to April 7.
