Dariush Moadabian to Iran Theater:
"Golgasht in Golestan" in Ritual/Traditional Theater Festival

Dariush Moadabian, translator and veteran theater director, will direct "Golgasht in Golestan" in the 18th Ritual/Traditional Theater Festival.
Mardom (people) Theater Troupe, which is headed by Mr Moadabian, has been busy performing internationally-known plays by Chekhov, Brecht and … in Ostad Entezami Museum House, irantheater.ir reported. The troupe will perform "Golgasht in Golestan" in the 18th Ritual/Traditional Theater Festival.
Mr Moadabian told about the piece to irantheater.ir, adding that he would start his activities in Persian New Year, which began on March 21, since April 22. He would stage "Delgosha" on April 22 to April 24. "Delgosha" is an adaptation of a book by Obeide Zakani.
Mr Moadabian said that he adapted the play to have social criticism satirically.
The director added that he would perform "Two Timid Souls", a comedy by French playwright Eugene Marin Labiche, in Ostad Entezami Museum House since April 25.
The play is the story of shy people who cannot tell their mind in an appropriate timing. The shy man will go to propose a girl who has fallen in love. The shy person could not propose her because he is timid and he talks about unrelated matters. The man's timid nature is pictured in hilarious way. After various trials, and meeting his shy counterpart in the girl's father, the man finally gets to the girl in time to ask for her hand in marriage.
"Two Timid Souls" will be performed every day at 20:00 until May 4. Alireza Akhavan, Saeed Parsa, Ali Dashti, Arya Rad, Miaad Rashedi, Hasti Razazchian, Aryan Safaei, Mehrnaz Safaei, Mehrnaz Abbasi, Saeed Askari, Ashkan Mirzashafie, Dariush Moadabian and Negar Niknami will play in "Two Timid Souls".
