Festival to Adopt New Approach
The 6th City Theater Festival, which is organized by the Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran Municipality, will adopt a new approach in the current Iranian year (started on March 21).
The call for taking part in the 6th City Theater Festival will be released soon, aiming at supporting young, professional and active theater troupes.
The secretariat of the festival will invite the professional and young theater groups in the near future as it has practiced in the previous editions.
Following numerous meetings for drafting the call for submission as well as evaluation of the past five editions, the secretariat has decided to change time table and criteria for participation. Tehran artists will be informed of the result through media soon.
The City Theater Festival has sections of stage, children, street, play reading, play writing, educational workshops, theater school in its previous editions. The festival has welcomed by young and professional artists every year.
