Jury Members of “Children of Mosque” Festival

Fanaeiyan, Aqakhani and Boroujerdi were introduced as jury members of the 12th National Children of Mosque Theater Festival.

Hamid Nili, secretary of the festival, named the jury members on Tuesday, irantheater.ir reported.

Azam Boroujerdi, Tajbakhsh Fanaeiyan and Ayoub Aqakhani are going to the judge in the festival.

Tajbakhsh Fanaeiyan was born in 1950 in Tehran. He graduated from the Dramatic Arts Faculty in acting and direction. Mr Fanaeiyan holds a master degree in acting and direction from Tarbiat Modarres (Instructors Training) University and a PhD in art supreme studies from Tehran University.

Mr Fanaeiyan and his close friends Mohammad Kasebi, Mohammad Reza Honarmand, Farajollah Salahshour and Majid Majidi have founded Hoze Honari of the Islamic Propagation Organization.

Born in 1975 in Tabriz, Ayoub Aqakhani holds a master degree in theater with a major in dramatic literature from the Art Faculty of the Tarbiat Modarres (Instructors Training) University. Aqakhani is an outstanding theater figure in the fields of writing and direction. His major theater productions include “Heavy Pieces of Copper” and “Name of All Those Who Are Crucified Is Messiah”.

Azam Boroujerdi was born in 1977 in Tehran. She holds a master degree from Tarbiat Modarres (Instructors Training) University. She has written over 50 plays including his notable television series “Heroes Never Die”.

The press conference of the 12th National Children of Mosques Theater Festival took place on Monday in Amir Hall of the Hoze Honari when officials said that the festival would be held after a 20-year hiatus.

The festival is aimed at making common familiar with theater and individuals of any taste.

Ten mosques in the capital Tehran will host the festival in which 105 plays are taking part. The festival will take place from April 21 to April 26.
