Sympathy for Azarbaijan, Kurdistan & Ardebil

"Hamlet" Dedicated to Flood-Stricken People

"Hamlet", which is directed by Arash Dadgar, hosted the memebers of press while the cast of the play dedicated their piece to the relatives of those who lost their lives in flood in northwestern provinces of Azarbaijan, Kurdistan and Ardebil.

Arash Dadgar expressed said that their hearts go with the families of those who died in the recent flood, irantheater.ir reported. He read a letter of condolences at the end of the show.

"At a time when people die easily. Lives of people are cheap and seem do not worth of mourning.

At a time the dead and alive are in grief what shall we do except for silence.

It is a strange time my countryman. It is a time we just express condolences in grief of others and forget them tomorrow. We forget them because we are used to such grief for years.

Quantum Theater Troupe dedicates its show tonight to our flood-stricken countrymen in Azarbaijan, Kurdistan and Ardebil provinces. May this will alleviate their sadness."

"Hamlet" has begun on April 6 at the main auditorium of the City Theater Complex. It is a free adaptation of Shakespeare's masterpiece. It is adapted by Shahram Ahmadzadeh and has a modern approach to the play. Arash Dadgar was performed at Samandarian Hall of Iranshahd Theater Complex in the past. Mehran Emambakhsh, Hesam Manzour, Behrouz Kazemi, Ammar Ashouri, Alireza Araa, Amin Tabatabaei, Shabnam Farshadjou, Pantea Panahiha, Mona Farjad, Amir Rajabi, Rasould Makvandi, Namira Hafizi and Afshin Safari star in the play.

The piece starts at 19:30 every day except for Saturdays.
