Two Deputy Ministers Take Part

The day started in the outdoor area of Iran Artists Forum with giant puppets weighting as much as 80 kg and dances at 16:00, irantheater.ir reported.

Hamed Zahmatkesh, the presenter of the program, thanked Sohrab Salim, secretary of the ceremony, in the beginning of the celebration. A Kheimeh Shab Bazi (Iranian traditional marionette puppet show) by Sasan Mehrpouya attracted a large number of spectators.  

Mahdi and Mahbod Karamipour performed naghali (storytelling) for children, which was welcomed warmly by the audience.

Dr Seyyed Mohammad Hadi Ayazi (deputy health minister for social affairs), Ali Moradkhani (deputy culture minister for artistic affairs) and Majid Rajabi Memar (managing director of Iran Artists Forum) were among the guests of the fourth day of Theater Forum celebration. They wished success for the organizers of the festivities.

Mr Rajabi Memar promised to allocate a space in Iran Artists Forum for a day of celebration per month.

The ceremony ended with naghali (storytelling) by Mohammad Majouni and a show titled Anarak by Ebrahim Rahimi.

"Practal", which was directed by Sahar Yousefzadeh, performed at 19:00 in Entezami Hall of Iran Artists Forum for 40 minutes.
