1st Day of 20th Iran International University Theater Festival
From Opening in Mowlavi Theater Complex to Stage Performances
The 20th Iran International University Theater Festival opened on Friday, May 5 in which the jury members and special guests attended.
The ceremony was planned to open at 16:30 in Mowlavi Theater Complex where seven plays to stage, irantheater.ir reported.
"Jeu" by Laurent Chétouane will be performed at the main hall of the complex at 20:00. "Foreign Mongolia", which is written and directed by Hamzeh Emami, will be performed at 16:00 and 18:00. "Invisible", which is directed by Seyyed Jafar Hejazi, will be performed at 15:00 and 21:00 in experimental section.
Entezami Hall will host "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare, which is directed by Mohsen Sadeqi Esfahani at 18:30 and 21:00.
Honar Theater will host "Conflict" by Morteza Mohammadi at 15:00 and 17:00.
"Oboud", which is directed by Sepideh Fallahpour, will be performed in Hostel Courin Café at 18:30
A rehearsal workshop was in plateau of the City Theater Complex at 15:00 and 17:00.
The 20th Iran International University Theater Festival will take place in Tehran from May 5 to 13. Festival secretary is Mehdi Gomar.
