"Volpone" Gives a Spring Sales a Big Start
Spectators of four plays "…and a Few More Story", "Volpone", 'Autumn Sonata" and "Dinnertime Songs" had ended shows recently in Iranshahr Theater Complex.
"…and a Few More Story", "Volpone", 'Autumn Sonata" and "Dinner Songs" had started shows on April 4 and 5 in Samandarian and Nazerzadeh Kermani halls of the complex, irantheater.ir reported. The show of these plays was over recently.
1,770 spectators watched "…and a Few More Story", which was directed by Payam Larian.
Mehdi Koushki's "Volpone" received 4,905 audience and Jalal Tehrani's "Autumn Sonata" 4,177. 2,636 theater-lovers saw "Dinnertime Songs", which was directed by Kaveh Mahdavi.
"…and a Few More Story" sold over 170m rials in 26 shows while "Autumn Sonata" grossed about 961m rials.
"Volpone" grossed highest with 24 shows about 1,150m rials.
"Dinnertime Songs" sold about 370m rials.
