Siah-Bazi to Be Performed

"Majlese Shabcheragh" is written and directed by Davoud Moeini Kia. It uses methods of Persian performing arts such as Siah-Bazi and naghali. This is the first play in outdoor space of Namayesh House, irantheater.ir reported.

Davoud Moini Kia, Mehdi Rahimi Sadeh, Sahar Khodadadeh, Atefeh Moqadasi, Atefeh Torabi Boroujerdi and Tannaz Abbasi will star in the piece.

Hannah Rad is assistant director, Majid Ahangaran set designer, Somayeh Pasandideh Khah costume designer, Ramin Abdollahi composer, Vahid Salimi graphic designer. Davoud Moini Kia is the make-up designer and Hanna Rad is make-up artist.

Amir Hossein Jafarpour is the set director and Yalda Ebrahimi and Atefeh Torabi the photographers of "Majlese Shabcheragh".

"Majlese Shabcheragh" will have 15 shows at 20:00 every day. The duration is 60 minutes.

Siah-Bazi features black-faced, mischievous and forthright harlequin that does improvisations to stir laughter.

Naghali is telling stories from from the Iranian fables, myths and epics, which have remained in the most important books.
