Ali Nasirian: No Ambassador Better than Music, Cinema & Theater Can Introduce Iran's Culture to World

Seyyed Reza Salehi Amiri, culture minister, said that the government of President Hassan Rouhani improved the cultural justice but many steps were left to take.

Mr Salehi Amiri said that the members of art community were assets of the country for improvement of culture.

Ali Nasirian, veteran cinema and theater actor, said that he had been seeking an opportunity to express his gratitude to Iran's foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif as an Iranian for reaching the country's nuclear deal with the world major powers.

Many efforts were exerted to clinch the accord but a group did not want to admit that, Mr Nasirian regretted.

The actor added that this land had always seen the young individuals who made sacrifices for the country of whom one of them who was present here was Mohammad Javad Zarf.

"Today, Abbas Kiarostami, Asghar Farhadi and Mohammad Javad Zarif introduced Iran to the world and no ambassador can introduce Iran's noble culture to the world better than music concerts, cinema and theater," Mr Nasirian argued.

"We are seeing today that Iran art and cinema has a high status in the world and acts like and ambassador," the actor said, adding that one of the musician of the country with his Kamanche (string instrument) would have concerts across the globe, introducing the nation to the world.

Therefore, Mr Nasirian said, he wanted state officials or ministers would pave the ground for artists' art would be presented in the international scene.
