“Bongahe Theatral”, which is written by Ali Nassirian before the 1979 Islamic Revolution, tells the story of a young hero who has a thorn in his chest because of a talisman, irantheater.ir reported. Another hero wants to take out the thorn from his chest but his efforts are futile.
Hadi Marzban said that the traditional comedy would be staged by him in a different way with new approach, adding that his direction of the play was aimed at proving that Iran boasted of valuable traditional theater plays and style.
Stressing to dominance of Ali Nassirian in writing a play for traditional Iranian theater, Mr Marzban said that his direction would be different from those performed before 1979 and had added some dialogues and chats to help play establish deeper link with the audience.
Farzaneh Kaboli will be choreographer of the play. Davoud Fathalibeigi, Iraj Rad, Khosrow Ahmadi, Amin Zendegani, Mahmoud Basiri, Saeed Amirsoleimani and Ali Fathali will act in the play.
