Ali Sarabi to Direct "Yester Day" with 40 Actors in City Theater Complex

5 Night with 5 Top Plays

Ali Sarabi, renowned actor and director, will direct "Yester Day" in the City Theater Complex.

Ali Sarabi will direct five plays from June 8 to June 12 following its successful direction of "God of Carnage" in Moataghel (Independent) and Paliz Theaters.

"Afra or Day Passes" written by Bahram Beyzai, "One Minute of Silence" written by Mohammad Yaghoubi, "Tehran under the Wings of Angels" written by Nader Borhani Marand, "It Does not Snow in Egypt" written by Mohammad Charmshir and "Cooing of Holy Shrine's Doves" written by Alireza Naderi, are the five plays to be read and directed.

40 actors and actresses including Roya Teimorian, Roya Nonahali, Sahar Dolatshahi, Amir Aghaei, Nazanin Bayati, Parinaz Izadyar, Babak Karimi and Mehrdad Sadighian will read and perform the plays.

The duration of each play will be 10 to 15 minutes. All plays are from 1990s. Atousa Qalamfarsaei is the set designer, Fardin Khalatbari the composer, Shima Moradi production assistant, Mohammad Reza Ale Taha and Davoud Vandadeh the set directors and Noreddin Haydari Maher is the project manager.

The five-day program will be performed on June 8-18 at 19:00 every day.
