With Ali Ettehad as Director
Shahrzad Theater Complex to Host an Interactive Theater
Ali Ettehad, director, visual and performing artist, will direct “The Room of Long-Handed Bushasp” late June in newly-established Shahrzad Theater Complex.
This is the second performance-theatrical project by Mr Ettehad after he staged “A Eulogy for Book Burning” in January and February 2015 in Niavaran Cultural Complex. The project received critic and audience acclaims.
The new project is based on two years of studies by Mr Ettehad on nightmare, irantheater.ir reported. The new play will be performed by Art Academy Theater Group and is produced by Majid Rahimi Jafari.
“The Room of Long-Handed Bushasp” is performed like a game rather than a play. It is a game based on the nightmares and will be played by a three-member cast with different mediums.
“The Room of Long-Handed Bushasp” will start on June 22 at 21:00 every day except for Saturdays at Shahrzad Theater.
