To Commemorate Death Anniversary of Founder of Islamic Revolution

Tehran City Theater Complex to Host Popular Plays

The outdoor area of Tehran City Theater Complex will host the 4th June Popular Theater Festival to pay a tribute to founder of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Rohullah Khomeini on his death anniversary on June 4.

The festival will start on Saturday, June 3 and end on Tuesday, June 6 and is sponsored by Islamic Propagation Organization, irantheater.ir reported.   

The plays to be performed in the 4th June Popular Theater Festival include;

Saturday, June 3

18:00: "God's Bloody Day", written and directed by Houman Mirmanavi from Rasht

18:30: "Sleeping", written and directed by Behdad Baligh from Tehran

19:00: "Baqerabad", written and directed by Masoud Barahimi from Isfahan

20:00: "Pilgrims", written and directed by Ali Mohammad Radmanesh from Tehran

 

Sunday, June 4

18:30: God's Bloody Day", written and directed by Houman Mirmanavi from Rasht

19:00: "Sleeping", written and directed by Behdad Baligh from Tehran

19:30: "Baqerabad", written and directed by Masoud Barahimi from Isfahan

20:00: "Will", written and directed by Mostafa Koulivandi from Dehloran

 

Monday, June 5

18:00: "Sleeping", written and directed by Behdad Baligh from Tehran

18:30: "Baqerabad", written and directed by Masoud Barahimi from Isfahan

19:00: "God's Bloody Day", written and directed by Houman Mirmanavi from Rasht
