Hamed Behdad Will Back to Stage
Hamed Behdad, renowned cinema actor, will star in a play to be directed by Hamid-Reza Naeimi in summer. Mr Behdad will get back to stage in "Far East, Near East" after eight years of absence.
A graduate of theater from Islamic Azad University, Hamed Behdad had played in "Obstacle" by Mohsen Qaraei last time, irantheater.ir reported.
He will play a leading character in "Far East, Near East". Hamed Behdad had also starred in "Dog of Silence" by Arvand Dashtaray when he said he would never play in theater anymore.
Now that he will get back to stage after years, it is expected that his acting will be more mature because of his long experience in cinema.
"Far East, Near East" will be staged in Samandarian Hall of Iranshahr Theater Complex this summer.
Other cast members include Reza Mahdizadeh set designer, costume designer Edna Zeinalian, lighting designer Reza Haydari, sound designer Farshad Javan, make-up designer Maria Hajiha, movement designer Mohsen Goudarzi, poster and brochure designer Kamyar Labbafan and music Alireza Abdolkarimi.
