4th Khordad (June) Popular Theater Festival wrapped up in a ceremony attended by members of theater community and theater groups.
The closing ceremony of the 4th Khordad (June) Popular Theater Festival took place in Tehran on Wednesday, theater.ir reported.
Kourosh Zarei, director of the Dramatic Art Center of the Islamic Propagation Organization, expressed condolences on the death of a group of Iranians in terrorist attacks in Tehran.
"I should congratulate this nation who stand by the revolution and the system more strongly under such circumstances. Such incidents make our nation more united and encourage them to support the value of the founder of the Islamic Revolution (late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini) more," he said.
He added that the room for a Khordad (June) Popular Theater Festival was empty in Iran's performing arts which could make plays on the founder of the Islamic Revolution and his new ideas.
The ceremony was ended by awarding 20 theater groups with emblem of honor and cash prize.

4th Khordad (June) Popular Theater Festival was held in Tehran and 11 provinces on June 3- Amir Hossein Shafiee was the secretary of the festival.
