Plays by Esmail Khalaj to be Read

Actresses such as Golab Adineh, Maryam Pouyani, Shadi Sayadinia and actors like Akbar Rahmati, Mehdi Miami, Majid Giahchi, Mohammad Seddighmehr and Esmail Khalaj will read the plays.

“Sangelaj with Khalaj” will include “Goldouneh Khanoum” (first night), “Soghra Dallak” and “Baba Shirali” (second night) and parts of “Incomplete Stories”, “Seven Short Plays” and “Jomehkoshi”.

The reading will start at 18:00 every day.

Born in 1946, Esmail Khalaj is one of the pioneer playwrights of Iran. Most of his plays had been staged in the 1970s. Esmail Khalaj had directed most of his plays back then. His dialogs are unique, brave and rich in sense of humor.
