"Majlese Shah Fattah" on Stage to Mark Layat al-Qadr

"Majlese Shah Fattah", which is directed by Naser Ashouri, will be performed during Layat al-Qadr and days to commemorate martyrdom of the first Shia Imam Ali (AS) who is prophet Muhammad’s (PBUP) son-in-law too.

From Wednesday to Friday, which Shia Muslims will simultaneously mark Laylat al-Qadr and martyrdom of the first Shia Imam Ali (AS), Naser Ashouri will stage "Majlese Shah Fattah", Iran Theater reported.
Play "Shah Fattah" dates back to 200 years. It pictures an imaginary encounter between hero Fattah and Imam Ali (AS).
Naser Ashouri has done the dramaturgy and will stage the piece in Mah Theater at 18:00.
Shia Muslims believe that Laylat al-Qadr is on the 19th, 21st or 23rd of Ramadan with 23rd being the most important night. The 19th coincides with the night of attack against Imam Ali (AS) while he was worshipping in the Kufa Mosque. Imam Ali was martyred on the 21st of Ramadan. Shia Muslims worship and regard these three nights as greatly rewarding.
