To Perform 14 Plays in 3 Provinces
Theater with Mobile Truck Begun Summer Performance
A mobile truck has started hitting the streets of three provinces on Sunday to perform plays for children.
The Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults has dedicated the mobile truck to cruise streets of three provinces of Qazvin, Isfahan and Charmahal-Bakhtiari, Iran Theater reported.
“Reynard the Fox” and “Jack and the Beanstalk” are being performed in the three provinces from June 25 until July 17.
“Reynard the Fox” is the story of a fox that creates trouble for other forest animals because of his excessive monkey business. The forest animals form a trial for him and give him one year to reform himself.
“Jack and the Beanstalk” is the same classic story adapted to be performed for children. Ahmad Taymouri is the director of the performances. Ahmad Taymouri, Marjan Mesgari, Najva Sabbaghha, Zahra Karimi, Hashem Khalili, Sepideh Zeinali and Maysam Maysaghi play in the pieces. Hamid Mardomi is head of the group.
The mobile truck will have 14 performances.
