Art is a conflict between soul and universe. The soul which walks through bright and dark sides of the universe, searching for peace and happiness. Elixirs of faith and ideal are the key to fight against internal and external demon during this search. Theater stands in the front line of this conflict. A valuable art, which takes its roots from beliefs and faiths of each nation, can be creator of soul and universe.

Liberation of Khorramshahr Theater Festival commemorates those souls who sacrificed their lives to protect the soil of this territory with their blood and link the sadness of their loss with the happiness of victory. Theater pictures the story of this victory stage by stage truly to praise their sacrifices.

Now, we are watching a new picture of this epic story and whisper the name of Khorramshahr and Abadan along with the cultured theater artists. We shake the hands of the noble and patient locals of those lands, who are symbols of resistance and perseverance, one by one. I wish we can rehearse the pains and hail these spirits through the souls of the artists. Amen to that!
