Iran Hosting Musical Play from Azerbaijan Republic
“Husband and Wife”, a musical comedy written by Uzeyir Hajibeyov in 1909, is being performed in Iran for two days.
The musical comedy, which its premier in 1910 in Baku laid the foundation of Azerbaijan State Theatre of Musical Comedy in 1910, is being performed in Iran on July 7-8, Iran Theater reported.
The two-part musical comedy is directed by Yusif Akbarov and being performed at 19:00 on Saturday.
