Mohammad Rahmanian to Direct “Facing Mirrors” at Vahdat Hall
Mohammad Rahmanian, renowned theater director, will direct “Facing Mirrors”, which is written by internationally-acclaimed Iranian playwright Bahram Beyzaei, as of August 6 at Vahdat Hall.
“Facing Mirrors” is a film/theater, Iran Theater reported, adding that the film script was written by Mr Beyzaei, who is currently teaching at Stanford University, in 1980. Mr Beyzaei could have never made the movie. But it was published twice by Damavand Publishing House.
Mr Rahmanian is set to direct it as a play after 37 years.
“Facing Mirrors” is Mr Beyzaei’s only writing which deals with the 1979 Islamic revolution and has a love theme.
“Facing Mirrors” will have performance every day except for Saturdays at 18:30 at Vahdat Hall until late September.
