Message of Dramatic Arts Center Chief to 12th Razavi Theater Festival
Theater, a Chance to Review Beliefs & Portray Rituals

Mahdi Shaifiee, director general of Dramatic Arts Center, issued a message to the 12th Razavi Theater Festival.
The message read; Iran Theater reported.
In the Name of God
Theater is a chance to review beliefs and an opportunity to make rituals emerge. Artists have made their plays immortal by the elixir of wisdom and love on the hope of happiness of the society. The contemporary man has wisely taken refuge in religion in the face of difficulties and pains while seeking answers for his doubts and disturbs. Profound understanding of religion has brought intellectualism and wisdom for believers.
Theater artists are seekers of immortality. They resorted to the divine verses and trusted in prophets in their bumpy road. They have not backtracked in their musts and stayed away of must-nots.
Razavi Theater Festival is blessed with the name of that Imam of kindness and compassion (Imam Reza (AS) whose holy shrine is in the northwestern city of Mashhad). Theater family has sought help from the mercy of Hazrat-e Ali Ibn Mousa Reza (AS) to promote religious art, making this theater event broader every year.
I will cherish the rebirth of the festival in the art creating land of North Khorasan on the border of the holy shrine of Imam Reza from the bottom of my heart. I am thankful of those steps taken and those pens who believe in the miracles of God.
I genuinely express gratitude to artists, managers, art institutes of the province, especially the governorate general and culture and Islamic guidance department. I wish God give success to those holding the 12th Razavi Theater Festival.
The 12th Razavi Theater Festival opens in Bojnourd in North Khorasan province on July 30. It closes on August 2.
