Mohammad Hatami:
Festival Aims to Increase Collaboration Among Artists

Mohammad Hatami, theater, cinema and television actor, said that the aim of the festivals was to increase interaction among artists and create a healthy competitive atmosphere, encouraging quality products.
On the occasion of the 12th Razavi Theater Festival, which will open on Sunday in Bojnourd, North Khorasan province, Mr Hatami said that the festival could create positive challenges and play the role of a critic for theater products. “This would help improve artworks and remove their pitfalls,” he added, Iran Theater reported.
He hoped that as the artists prepare their works for festivals, they would be able to perform them after festivals. “Plays performed in a national event is the result of efforts taken by an artist in a year and it is better performances will not be limited to the days of festivals and judgments,” Mr Hatami said.
He said his “Pallet”, which was performed in Tehran recently, would have performance in North Khorasan soon.
The festival will close on August 2 in Bojnurd, Noth Khorasan province.
