Secretariat of 18th Traditional/Ritual Theater Festival has chosen seven plays as guest performance.

Plays by noted artists including Behzad Farahani, Afshin Hashemi, Ataollah Safarpour, Saeed Shahriar, Mohammad Hatami, Hovas Polok and Mehdi Lotfi will be performed in the festival as guest, Iran Theater reported.

"Charikeh Varan", directed by Hovas Polok from Kermanshah from winner of Kermanshah Traditional/Ritual Theater Festival

"Bolgheis Story", written by Alireza Naderi, directed by Mohammad Hatami from Tehran

"Lions of Babakhan Saltaneh", directed by Afshin Hashemi from Tehran

"Compulsive Physician", directed by Saeed Shahriar from Yazd

"The Minstrel", directed by Behzad Farahani

"Nabat & Robot", directed by Ataollah Safarpour from Gorgan

"Whoever He Is", written and directed by Mahdi Lotfi from Tehran

Tehran will host the festival on August 30 to September 6.
