To Play in Shahram Karami’s Latest Piece

“Who Killed Sohrab” is a contemporary play about the importance of family to be directed by Shahram Karami.

Farid Qobadi, veteran theater actor, whose acclaimed role as Ibn Moljam Moradi was praised by the audience, said that he was rehearsing for playing in “Who Killed Sohrab” by Shahram Karami for a while at the City Theater Complex.

Mr Qobadi said that he had some proposals for playing in some television and cinema works but he could not accept it because he was rehearsing for “Who Killed Sohrab”.

He added that he was also present in a cooking competition as guest, Iran Theater reported.

Mr Qobadi explained that he was playing in “Who Killed Sohrab” because of the shining record of Shahram Karam and the characteristics of his role.

“Who Killed Sohrab” by Shaya Theatre Group will played by Mohammad Shah Mohammadlou, Roya Afshar, Soroush Taheri and Hossein Pourkarimi.

The actor explained that “Who Killed Sohrab” was a contemporary play about status of family in the society and was a realistic show about the middle class whose lives could plunge into a crisis due to some incidents.

Mr Qobadi said that he would play the role of the father of the family who was a decent and reasonable man trying to run his family in way that to take them out of crisis and challenge.
