Six Members of Play Selection of Shahr (City) Theater Festival Introduced
The members of the selection council of plays submitted for stage competition and other sections including street, environmental, oppressive theater of Sixth City Theater Festival are introduced.
The stage competition council includes Dr Rahmat Amini, Abbas Aqsami and Sanaz Bayan. Saman Khalilian, Faramarz Qelichkhani and Payam Azizi will select the plays submitted for street theater competition, Iran Theater reported.
Dr Rahmat Amini is theater author, director, critic and instructor. Sanaz Bayan is author, actress, translator and director. Abbas Aqsami is author and director.
In other theater styles section (street, environmental, oppressive theater), Saman Khalilian is author, director and bureau chief of street theater office. Payam Azizi and Faramarz Qelichkhani are authors, directors and successful actors.
Sixth City Theater Festival is the most important cultural event organized by Tehran Municipality in November and December.
