'Vatarolmotar' Ta'zieh passion play, which is written and directed by Alireza Zeraati, will be performed with 160 actors in a one-hectare land in Ghiasabad village in Fasa.
Mohammad Kazem Rahmani, head of Fasa Culture and Islamic Guidance Department, said that visual artists would make the symbolic shrine and other signs of Imam Hussein (AS) and Yazid palace.
Mr Rahmani added that this Ta'zieh was aimed at illumination, martyrdom of Haztar Ali Asghar, Imam Hussein and his followers.
It is expected the passion play would be watched by more than 25,000 audiences, he said, adding that some of the actors were prisoners and juvenile delinquents of Fasa prison.
It will be performed at noon of Sunday, which is Ashura, the tenth day of Muharram in the Islamic calendar. Shia Muslims marks Ashura with sorrow and passion as the day third Shia Imam Hussein, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, and his companions were martyred in the year of 680 in Karbala in an equal battle by the army of Yazid, Umayyad caliph.
